This year Bollywood is going to witness quite a few box office battles. Come October the Exotic babe will take on Katrina at the box office and considering both the actors have huge fan following it would be interesting to see who emerges on the top
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s biopic on Manipuri boxer Mary Kom starring Priyanka Chopra in the lead will hit the theatres on October 2. But it won’t be a solo release coz Katrina Kaif’s Phantom with Saif Ali Khan and Bang Bang opposite Hrithik Roshan will also be releasing on the same day (October 2, Thursday). Since it’s the longest weekend of 2014 as Friday is Dussehra followed by Eid on Monday, we aren’t surprised that three big films will be battling out at the ticket windows at the same time. While it would be a treat for all the movie goers, only one film will walk away with a bigger money pie. Well, that happens every time there is a box office clash, hai na? So will Ms Chopra play a spoilsport for her contemporary? Coz Mary Kom biopic has generated great buzz amongst the masses so it does have an advantage over both of Kat’s films.
